Lincoln was built in 1922 and has served thousands of students from many backgrounds and cultures. Many things have changed through the years including the rules, curriculum, gym and library media center. A new library was opened on February 9, 1995 named after a former principal. It was the Dr. Rupel B. Jones, Jr. Library Media Center. Also, during the 1996-1997 school year Lincoln celebrated its 75th Anniversary. Our 75th Anniversary Reception took place on December 19, 1996 which included many Lincoln alumni.
